In order to effectively solve the problem, you must first understand why the problem exists. And the reason is very simple:
Social Media is Inherently Asymmetric
The asymmetry of social media can be a good thing: If you have "clout" (a.k.a. a large follower count that isn't entirely bots), you can amplify important messages and ensure they're received by more people.
Sealioning represents the dark side of this asymmetry: Lots of "randos" demanding answers to loaded questions, often from throw-away accounts, asking the same, tired line of questioning over and over again. Even people who are successful at dealing with sealioning attempts are exhausted by them.
